HOW TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE

So the other day, I was having a conversation with a woman at the book store and the question came up, "So, what do you do?" I simply told her that I make my money online through various businesses. She just kind of looked at me perplexed and didn't really seem to know how to respond. But after a while she asked me more questions wanting to know more and how she could also make money online (apparently she didn't like working as a waitress).

This is a typical response I get from people when I tell them how I make my money and the reason for this is probably because we are all taught from a very young age to go to school, graduate, go to a university, get a degree, find a job, work 9-5. Now there's nothing wrong with that, at all. If you're working a 9-5 job and you love what you do and most importantly, you're happy then I respect that. But for me, I just wasn't sold on the idea. I like having the freedom to do what I want, when I want. I also don't like working under someone. So, I decided to create my own businesses and make my money all on my own starting from nothing.

Now before I get sidetracked about my story let's just stick with how you can make money online. First of all, the truth is, it's not easy to make money online. It actually takes quite a while before you start seeing tremendous amounts of money coming into your bank account but if you are consistent with it, you will succeed. So I'm now going to share with you just 7 methods to make money online that I myself do to this day and I hope that by reading this article, you too will get motivated to make some extra money online.

1. Build a blog.

When it comes to making money online one of the first methods that come to mind is to create a blog. Now you must know that creating a blog with real readership is quite difficult and it does take a lot of work but eventually, you'll reach a point where all of the effort and time you've put into it builds up to a point where the momentum accumulated will sway in your favor, and thus it becomes a lot easier.

Having a blog can generate hundreds of thousands of dollars per month if done right but it won't be easy and it'll take a lot of work but looking back at it about a year from now you'll wish you started today so why wait? If you don't know where to start with creating your own website I recommend using Wix to create your website. It's really simple to use and you can have your own website up and running today.

2. Email marketing.

Email marketing is a great way to make some serious money but with everything else if you want to make some serious money it has to be done the right way. Before you even try to market a product to anyone via an email list you need to make sure that those people on that list are opted in and subscribed directly to you.

You won't see much success or results if you attempt to market your products or services to people via email if it's out of the ordinary. But if those email subscribers subscribed directly from your website or blog and are actively keen to hear what you have to say then your conversions will be a lot higher. With that being said if you are interested in email marketing but don't know where to start, I'd recommend trying AWeber. They have more then enough features to build and send campaigns. 3. Renting your home on Airbnb.

Another great way to make money online (and is something I've done but stopped after travelling so much) is to rent out your entire house (or even just one room) on Airbnb. This is a great way to make some extra cash and although it won't make you rich, you can definitely generate thousands of dollars monthly if you are located in the right place.

What you can do is look up other listings on Airbnb for places that look like yours and are located in your city to get a rough idea at how much money you could charge. Remember you don't need to rent out your entire house, you can rent out just 1 room and still see some nice monthly profits.

4. Use BigCommerce and build a online store.

If you're not interested in selling on Ebay you could easily build your own online store using a platform such as BigCommerce. I've done it myself with my business 'Teeth Whitening Solutions'. It's really simple and they make it very easy for you to build a transactional website that can usually be very difficult and take a lot of time to build.

Using a platform such as BigCommerce you can starting selling within minutes if not, a couple of hours. I'd highly recommend you to give it a try. Not only is it fun but it can be very profitable if you do it right.

5. Develop your own educational course.

6. Affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is something I was actively involved in. It's really simple and ClickBank is a great website for this. All you do is promote and sell other products that you feel passionate about. Once you make a sale you get the commission (which ranges from 20-75% of the sale, depending on the vendor).

My product The T8 is actually listed on ClickBank so if you'd like to promote and sell it, it'd be a great place to start with making some extra money online. And I offer 75% commission. In fact, you can sell any products you like and I do recommend you try affiliate marketing because that's where I started to make some serious extra cash online. It's easy and fun.
